7 ways to Promote an ebook

I recently tried a 2-day free promotion for Amazon Kindle for my book. I did not promote the book during the promotion and learned later that it is important to promote right before the free days. So these are the 7 tips that I am going to use for my next promotion:

1. Schedule the free day for a Thursday. Fri-Sunday are the best purchasing days, so it makes sense to run the free day right before the weekend.

2. Post at several sites that promote free ebooks:  All things Kindle http://www.facebook.com/allthingskindle?sk=wall , Kindle boards http://www.kindleboards.com/,  and Digital books today http://www.digitalbooktoday.com/

3. Post on Facebook

4. Post on Twitter

5. Post on Goodreads

6. Post in my blog

Updated Book

I updated my book today. I added a Table of Contents to Trapped Beneath the City. I also got rid of some of the ly adverbs to tighten up the writing.
